ALIGNS DOOR WITH JAMB
The shipping screw fits into the bore-hole of the jamb, while the plug fits securely in the door’s bore – properly aligning it with the jamb for shipping. Some competitor’s products allow the door to sag, causing unwanted hinge tear-out.
FASTENER FREE ASSEMBLY
The unique screw & plug design allows the prehanger to assemble the door without using any unwanted staples or fasteners. When the installer is ready, they simply unscrew and remove the plug.
